THE IJsselmeer EXPERIENCE !
Do you want to sail with us? With the "BEP GLASIUS" over the IJsselmeer. From Enkhuizen to Stavoren, or vice versa. The ferry boarding point is close to the train station. You can take your bike on board for a bike tour on the other side of the IJsselmeer or as part of a cycling holiday. In Enkhuizen we have the Zuiderzee Museum, a beautiful harbor where you can enjoy good food and a very nice old town. In Stavoren you can visit the statute of the legendary woman to whom Stavoren owes its fame, after that you can dive into the beautiful nature in the surrounding area.
The journey takes about 80 minutes, enjoy the view and the water. You can sit inside or get on deck to get some fresh air. A visit to the Captain in the wheelhouse is always nice, but keep in mind that he is at work and the work requires his attention.

COME ON BOARD...
The bar is open. Here you can buy drinks, ice cream and other goodies. The menu includes various sandwiches, dishes and snacks. You can order at the bar or with our catering staff. Walking over a moving ship with your cappucino can be quite a challenge, but don't worry, we 'll take care of that for you.

May we introduce you ?
Jan has been sailing Enkhuizen-Stavoren since 2000. He started out as a sailor and now he is the captain. In the summer he crosses the IJselmeer with our guests and in the winter, Jan ensures that "de Bep" is completely ready to bring all passengers safely to the other side in the next season. Jan knows almost everything about the "Bep" and the history of the ferry service.
(Yes, we can have 2 captains on 1 ship.) Harry is well known in Enkhuizen, and also on the IJsselmeer. With a nice music in the wheelhouse, Harry is in place. He has been sailing all his life, you will not see him anywhere else soon.
Nothing happens without a man on the shore. Peter handles almost everything from reservations, orders, the website and ofcourse the staff. During the season he regularly sails allong for a day.
