Timetable and boarding locations

The ferry service Enkhuizen-Stavoren has been operating since 1886, that's a long time!
There used to be 3 ferries from Enkhuizen to Stavoren. Passengers and entire train wagons then went along, this was the fastest connection between Amsterdam and Leeuwarden. The route across the Zuiderzee was the shortest. Later it became a seasonal ferry service that transfers thousands of people every year to enjoy the beautiful places and city's around the IJsselmeer.

  • Sometimes we have an extra departure due to a group booking. If this is the case, we will mention it here. No additional departures are planned at this time.
  • There is no ferry service on Saturday April 27 due to King's Day.
  • On Monday 20 May, Whit Monday, we will use normal timetables.
  • September 29 is the last day of the season, so there is NO ferry service in October!!!

Parking in Enkhuizen:

  • Free parking on the Dirck Chinaplein (100 meters from the ferry).
  • Free parking in the parking lot behind the station (Ossenmarkt, ± 300 meters from the ferry).
  • NB! In Enkhuizen is strictly checked and quickly fined (€ 90, -)

Parking in Stavoren:

  • Parking spaces at the Stationsweg (paid).
  • The parking at the tennis courts it is free (± 7 min. walk).
